White flower, a fashion editorial for White Paper, captures a rigorous dialogue between contemporary couture and brutalist architecture. Photographed by Javier Biosca with styling by Maria Molina, the series places model Xiaorui Li within industrial settings, utilizing the sharp lines of metal staircases and corrugated surfaces to frame complex, tactile garments. The work leans into a gritty, high-contrast aesthetic, often employing hard light to accentuate the depth of woven patterns and the structure of leather outerwear. Through a blend of monochrome and saturated palettes, the editorial oscillates between raw, geometric compositions and controlled studio-adjacent framing, underscored by an analogue feel that highlights the materiality of the collection.
