Wakefield Council · Fostering

Wakefield Council's fostering campaign takes a sensitive approach to public awareness, utilizing a soft, illustrative aesthetic to share the stories of foster carers. The project leverages an organic, watercolor-style animation to portray the quiet, foundational moments that define the fostering experience. Developed by AdSmart from Sky, the piece focuses on everyday activities—from cooking and walking a dog to shared hobbies—rendered in a palette of pastels. This documentary-style approach prioritizes an evocative, hand-drawn texture to highlight the impact of care within the community.
