Usai · Brand Identity

The brand identity for beverage label Usai focuses on a clean, minimalist aesthetic across both physical packaging and digital interfaces. The project, led by graphic design studio Tomorrow Studio, establishes a sophisticated visual language that prioritizes tactile textures, negative space, and a restrained monochromatic palette. Product photography by Josh Harvey documents the packaging design, which utilizes debossed typography and textured materials to distinguish the brand’s premium tea offerings. The studio compositions frequently employ low-key chiaroscuro lighting and curved paper backdrops to highlight the sculptural quality of the boxes, while macro shots emphasize material detail. Digital applications, including e-commerce and mobile app layouts, extend this minimalist approach through dark-mode UI design and functional product grids. The identity integrates landscape imagery of tea plantations to provide context, balancing abstract studio photography with natural origins. Packaging production was handled by Porter Packaging with structural cardboard engineering provided by Think.
