Tx DOT · Air Riders

TxDOT’s Air Riders campaign introduces a surreal take on road safety, using cinematic live-action footage paired with imaginative VFX to depict riders on invisible motorcycles. The commercial transitions through urban settings, from city streets to thoroughfares, framing the subjects in realistic riding postures while highlighting the importance of helmet use. Developed by Sherry Matthews Group, the project leans into a clean, stylized aesthetic to communicate its message. Production was managed by Durable Goods, with post-production VFX provided by Joe Laffey at The Stable. The final edit is underscored by sound design and music from Katie Walker.
