The Modern House

The Modern House · Brand Identity

The brand identity for The Modern House is defined by a clean, editorial aesthetic that prioritizes tactile materiality and structural clarity. The visual system, developed by StudioSmall, integrates minimalist typography with a curated selection of architectural photography by Elliott Sheppard. The collateral draws depth from commissioned illustrations by Lucia Vinti and Marcus Oakley, lending a nuanced, hand-rendered quality to the brand’s professional communication. Executed with a focus on print production, the project utilizes high-quality stocks from Fedrigoni and specialized techniques by Push Print, including screen printing. The identity leans into a palette of earthy tones and matte finishes, presenting a cohesive look across corporate stationery and printed publications. By emphasizing natural light and high-contrast shadows, the imagery reinforces the focus on craftsmanship and architectural form.
