Story Café

Story Café · Brand Identity

Story Café’s brand identity project establishes a narrative-driven visual system for the Sydney-based specialty coffee shop. The design focuses on typographic storytelling, utilizing a minimalist aesthetic across product packaging, digital interfaces, and print collateral. Developed by For The People, the identity incorporates vector illustrations by Illana Bodenstein to anchor the brand’s distinct editorial voice. The project employs a restrained, earthy color palette of cream, dark brown, red, and pink, which frames the heavy use of serif typography. Graphic assets, such as die-cut labels and library-style borrowing cards, lean into a tactile, artisanal quality. The application spans coffee bags, paper cups, and website layouts, ensuring a consistent application of the brand's graphic storytelling and clean, minimalist principles.
