São Paulo Symphony Orchestra · Brand Identity

The São Paulo Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) has debuted a comprehensive brand identity system, marking a shift in the institution's visual presence. Developed by Polar, Ltda. for graphic design and ACE for brand strategy, the project establishes a cohesive language spanning digital, print, and environmental applications. The system centers on a modular typographic approach, utilizing custom typefaces and a structured grid to balance archival performance imagery with contemporary layouts. Vibrant color fields—ranging from saturated pinks and oranges to deep greens—contrast against minimalist layouts and neoclassical architectural elements. Photography by Tuca Vieira, Naira Mattia, and Osesp documents the system's integration into the concert hall and season collateral. The project includes generative digital tools, motion graphics, and editorial design, creating a responsive visual rhythm that translates musical performance into a versatile graphic identity.
