Rationale

Rationale · The Beautiful Balm Collection

The Beautiful Balm Collection for Rationale centers on a series of intimate beauty portraits and macro product studies. The campaign leans into a clean, editorial aesthetic, emphasizing skin texture, radiance, and the tactile nature of the balm formulations through soft lighting and layered motion blur techniques. Photographer Justin Ridler captures these portraits with a focus on refined skin and close-up detail, complemented by makeup artistry from Shella Ruby Martin and hair styling by Lok Lau. The visual execution spans both vertical and horizontal formats, balancing commercial product clarity with an ethereal, high-end editorial finish.
