Orchestra Sinfonica Di Milano · Brand Identity

Landor developed a comprehensive brand identity for the Orchestra Sinfonica Di Milano, blending classical heritage with a modern, kinetic visual language. The project spans diverse touchpoints, including large-scale outdoor banners, season-specific promotional posters, and digital motion graphics, all centered on a precise typographic system. The visual design leverages clean lines and high-contrast color palettes to bridge the gap between historical musical scores and contemporary institutional branding. Motion graphics and animation techniques are used to display responsive, algorithmic text transformations, framing musical composers and event schedules through dynamic vector layouts and experimental letterform layering. This branding initiative maintains a sophisticated, editorial aesthetic throughout, utilizing a mix of architectural imagery, minimalist photography of instrumentalists, and bold geometric monograms to establish a cohesive identity for the ensemble across both print and screen.
