Project ODDA · Ben Hardy - Odda Magazine
ODDA Magazine features British actor Ben Hardy in a multifaceted editorial series that explores cinematic and urban environments. Photographed by Stefano Ortega, the project captures Hardy across a variety of settings ranging from the deep, warm tones of theater auditoriums and retro restaurant booths to the daylight-saturated textures of city sidewalks and public squares. The editorial leans into a distinct visual narrative through a mix of techniques, utilizing everything from direct flash and moody, cinematic lighting to the soft rendering of analogue film. Fashion editor and stylist Jessette coordinates a vibrant wardrobe that balances tailored pieces, such as blazers and ties, with patterned knitwear and casual layers, while editor David Martin shapes the final collection. This editorial, produced for ODDA Magazine, highlights the subject through a mix of high-angle outdoor perspectives and controlled, monochromatic interior framing.
Project ODDA · Brand Identity
ODDA magazine’s brand identity project centers on a sophisticated editorial layout that balances structured typography with surreal fashion photography. Graphic design house Naranjo-Etxeberria oversees the visual language, utilizing minimalist grid systems and high-contrast layouts to frame the publication’s independent print aesthetic. The project incorporates various spreads that lean into clean, typographic arrangements, featuring experimental serif headers and precise column alignment. These spreads contrast bold color palettes with desaturated photography, highlighting a commitment to contemporary editorial design. The work maintains a consistent rhythm across the pages, employing distinct graphic treatments to elevate the magazine's visual storytelling.
ODDA, Balenciaga · Chronicles of Time
The 'Chronicles of Time' project serves as a collaborative fashion film for ODDA and Balenciaga. The piece utilizes high-contrast monochrome cinematography to build an editorial aesthetic within intimate interior settings. Moving between abstract reflections and quiet domestic moments, the film leans into an analogue film quality. Production was handled by Space Cowboys Studio.
