Project Nami · Nami AW 2024 CAMPAIGN
The Nami AW 2024 campaign presents a series of vertical editorial compositions that bridge traditional menswear with atmospheric, documentary-style imagery. Photographed by Robin Galiegue under the creative direction of Julien Gallico, the project utilises split-frame techniques to juxtapose clean studio portraiture with outdoor performance shots. The imagery leans into a narrative of heritage and texture, featuring subjects in traditional Scottish attire, including kilts and tweed jackets, set against industrial facades and minimalist backgrounds. Utilising analogue film and natural light, the campaign highlights the tactile quality of the collection through close-ups of woolen swatches, leatherwork, and ornate furnishings. The branding is consistently applied across the series with bold, centered typography.
Project Nami · DROP 05
Nami's DROP 05 campaign serves as a visual study in minimalist design, centering on a series of monochrome editorial portraits. The project captures model Sofia Subramaniam in a range of contemplative poses, highlighting the texture and structure of the collection’s garments through a raw, refined lens. Photographed and creatively directed by Julien Gallico, the series channels a tactile quality with frequent use of grainy analogue film and soft natural light. Fashion styling by Livia Rossi emphasizes clean silhouettes, pairing high-collared coats and textured tops against pale studio backdrops. The project integrates bold graphic typography and vivid color blocks to punctuate the otherwise monochromatic aesthetic, balancing the raw, film-based editorial imagery with a modern, structured layout.
Project Nami · Drop 4 - The old course
Nami’s 'Drop 4 - The old course' campaign serves as a refined exercise in minimalist fashion editorial. Centered on the singular presence of model Nora Attal, the photography by Robin Galiegue alternates between a stark, clean studio aesthetic and a series of intimate, grain-heavy portraits. The project leans into monochromatic precision, utilizing high-contrast studio lighting to draw attention to sharp tailoring, layered knitwear, and textured crochet pieces. Creative direction by Julien Gallico establishes a deliberate balance across the campaign, transitioning from crisp white backdrops to warmer, desaturated, and analogue-inspired settings. The styling, helmed by Malina Joseph Gilchrist, favors structured, elegant silhouettes that rely on clean lines and intentional layering. Hair styling by Pawel Solis and makeup by Karim Rahman maintain a polished, understated finish throughout the editorial.
