Museum Ludwig

Museum Ludwig · Brand Identity

Studio von Monkiewitsch developed the brand identity for Museum Ludwig, focusing on a clean and functional design language. The project spans various touchpoints, including editorial publications, exhibition signage, and urban out-of-home displays. The system centers on rigorous typography and a recurring red diagonal cross motif, which acts as a graphic intervention across brochures, catalogs, and building banners. The aesthetic is defined by minimalist layouts and clear information hierarchy, supporting the museum's archival and exhibition needs. Techniques such as long exposure photography are used in campaign documentation to capture urban placements, while 3D render/CGI tools were utilized for product presentation. The work maintains a consistent visual presence across both digital and physical environments.
