LIFI · Brand Identity

LIFI—the Leeds International Festival of Ideas—features a comprehensive brand identity system built on a fusion of digital art and event-focused information design. Developed through a collaboration between graphic designers Rabbithole and 3D artist Joseph Töreki, the visual language employs a palette of neon pink, cyan, and neutral grey to anchor its promotional materials. The project incorporates 3D render / CGI techniques to produce reflective metallic surfaces, liquid chrome textures, and abstract geometric shapes. This modern, futuristic aesthetic is balanced by clean, minimalist typography and retro computer terminal graphics. Across both motion graphics and print collateral, the system utilizes split-screen layouts to integrate speaker portraits with event scheduling, resulting in a cohesive look that spans event badges, digital signage, and festival programming.
