Know Magazine

Know Magazine · Devi

Devi is a beauty editorial feature for Know Magazine, centering on high-fidelity portraiture that explores light, texture, and detail. Photographed by Karen Epstein Photography & Motion, the project utilizes a clean, studio-based approach to capture luminous skin, wet-look styling, and intricate makeup applications. The series leans into glossy, macro-focused imagery, punctuated by select chiaroscuro-inspired shots that create dramatic contrast against the editorial’s otherwise minimalist aesthetic. By pairing extreme close-ups of iridescent shadows and metallic accents with broader portraiture, the work emphasizes tactile elements and precision craftsmanship in beauty aesthetics.
