Devi is a beauty editorial feature produced for Know Magazine, highlighting a series of intimate portraits that explore luminosity and texture. Captured by photographer Karen Epstein, the work leans into polished, macro-focused visuals that center on dewy skin, wet-look styling, and intricate accessory details. The project utilizes clean beauty lighting to emphasize high-gloss finishes, iridescent pigments, and metallic makeup applications. In contrast to the primary bright studio aesthetic, select frames introduce chiaroscuro lighting techniques to create a moody, high-contrast atmosphere against neutral and black backgrounds. The series features collaborations with makeup and hair artist Linsey Marmorato to achieve the consistent editorial look across multiple diptych and macro compositions.
