José Parlá · Brand Identity

This brand identity project for artist José Parlá centres on a series of monographs and collateral that translate his expressive, abstract aesthetic into a structured editorial format. The design leans into a palette of bold red and crisp white, using sharp typography to anchor the organic, tactile quality of his work. Developed by Javas Lehn Studio, the identity prioritises clean layouts and minimalist framing to complement the intricate textures of the artwork. The publication design incorporates elements such as screen-printed motifs and structured grid systems to document the artist's urban-inspired visuals. Ben Alsop’s photography captures the physical craftsmanship of the books, emphasising the paper quality and binding through soft natural light and balanced compositions.
