Historisk Museum

Historisk Museum · Brand Identity

The brand identity for Historisk Museum establishes a contemporary visual language that bridges cultural heritage with modern graphic design. Developed by Bleed, the identity system utilizes a bold, typographic-led approach, characterized by a minimalist aesthetic and a vibrant, high-contrast color palette of black, pink, blue, and green. This system is applied across diverse physical touchpoints, including exhibition posters, informational brochures, and merchandise, effectively integrating museum assets into urban and architectural environments. Photography by Jan Khür documents these applications through a lens that emphasizes texture and natural light. The work highlights the juxtaposition of sharp graphic lines against weathered, historical surfaces like granite steps and brickwork. The project also incorporates motion graphics to present archival imagery and institutional monograms, maintaining a sophisticated and clean presentation throughout its digital and print executions.
