Frère · 2024 Capsule Collection

Frère presents its 2024 Capsule Collection, a series of menswear portraits that explore contemporary tailoring and textured layering. Shot in a minimalist studio environment, the editorial work focuses on the intersection of architectural outerwear, knitwear, and refined shirting. Photographer Mark Kean utilizes soft, directional lighting and a monochrome palette to emphasize the tactile quality of the fabrics and the clean lines of the garments. The project features casting by Nachum Shonn, with models Pascal Thulin, Philippe Proust, and Zack Carton, leaning into an understated and deliberate aesthetic. The series frequently employs analogue film techniques to capture its distinct tonal depth and structure.
