Canada's National Magazine Awards · Brand Identity

Canada's National Magazine Awards introduces a new brand identity, focusing on a robust system of bold typography and a high-contrast palette of red, mustard yellow, and cream. The visual program emphasizes clean, geometric layouts and minimalist compositions that function across both outdoor installations and digital display applications. The project leverages a modern editorial aesthetic, utilizing bilingual sans-serif typefaces to create an authoritative and accessible visual language. Developed with graphic design contributions from RETHINK, TWK Lausanne, and WELTKERN, the branding integrates natural light and textures within its site-specific installations, while maintaining a precise, vector-driven graphic structure.
