Canada's National Magazine Awards
Brand Identity

Oct 2021
Canada's National Magazine Awards commissioned a comprehensive brand identity program that establishes a modern visual presence across print and environmental installations. The project centers on bold sans-serif typography and a stark, high-contrast palette of red, mustard yellow, and white, utilized to create a clean editorial aesthetic. The visual system leans into geometric abstraction and vector-based layouts, effectively balancing bilingual text in both French and English. Developed with graphic design contributions from RETHINK, TWK Lausanne, and WELTKERN, the identity is showcased through both minimalist poster displays and outdoor site-specific installations, utilizing natural light and architectural textures to ground the graphic elements.
