Bradford · Brand Identity

The brand identity for Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture defines a vibrant, multi-layered visual system centered around a stylized heart emblem. Developed with graphic design by Rabbithole, the identity utilises a high-contrast palette of neon pink, green, and ochre yellow to create a cohesive aesthetic that spans physical signage, apparel, and digital motion graphics. The project incorporates dynamic motion graphics and 3D render / CGI techniques, featuring rapid-paced animations and glitch art artifacts. These assets are grounded by a clear minimalist approach in print collateral and environmental signage, ensuring structural clarity across diverse touchpoints. The design system effectively scales from street-level urban posters to intimate lifestyle imagery, reflecting a community-focused narrative through fluid movement and bold typography.
