Telstra’s 'Hope Phone' project is a film installation that visualizes the volume of emergency support and crisis calls processed by the network over a twelve-month period. Created by creative agency Bear Meets Eagle On Fire, the project centers on a tall, central structure built from survival gear, blankets, and personal belongings.
The film utilizes directional lighting and a grainy aesthetic to highlight the textures of the stacked supplies within a spare, concrete environment. This commercial work moves through detailed close-ups of the tower’s compartments to communicate the scale of telecommunications infrastructure during times of crisis.
