Telstra introduces a character-led commercial spot titled 'App O'Clock- Colin the Cuckoo.' The project features a distinct CGI cuckoo bird character, brought to life through precise 3D animation, who delivers a humorous, deadpan narrative directly to the viewer. Set against a clean, minimalist backdrop, the visuals lean into a palette of saturated primary colours and playful staging.
The spot was developed by agencies Bear Meets Eagle On Fire and +61, with animation, production, and post-production work handled by Nexus Studios. Audio and sound design were provided by Rumble Studios.
