Self-Portrait
Fall 2025 Ad Campaign

Sep 2025
For its Fall 2025 campaign, luxury fashion house Self-Portrait leans into the raw, unvarnished intimacy of the digital age. By stripping away the high-production artifice typically associated with seasonal editorial work, the brand embraces a candid lifestyle aesthetic that feels both accessible and deeply grounded in contemporary culture. The creative direction, led by Han Chong, centers on the mirror selfie as the primary visual language for the collection. Featuring model Apple Martin, the images trade traditional studio polish for natural light and the mundane, relatable framing of an everyday interior. Each composition highlights the collection through the lens of a smartphone, emphasizing a sense of immediacy and personal discovery. The stylistic choice to utilize portrait photography within domestic, understated settings allows the clothing, including the signature ringer t-shirts and graphic detailing, to occupy the space of genuine, lived-in style rather than staged luxury. By opting for a stripped-back approach, the campaign creates a dialogue between the viewer and the subject, proving that high fashion can resonate most powerfully when captured in the quietest, most authentic moments of a day. This intentional pivot toward transparency underscores a broader shift in the industry toward vulnerability, positioning Self-Portrait at the intersection of modern lifestyle branding and high-end fashion design.
