R.M. Williams
'The Role of a Lifetime' 2025 Ad Campaign

Aug 2025
For its 2025 campaign, The Role of a Lifetime, R.M. Williams leans into the quiet, enduring spirit of the Australian landscape to redefine heritage luxury fashion. Under the sharp creative direction of Nic Briand, the campaign masterfully captures the intersection of rugged utility and sophisticated comfort. Photographer Simon Lekias utilizes natural light to ground the narrative, crafting a series of images that feel both timeless and deeply intimate. By placing talent Bryan Brown and Matilda Brown within expansive, golden-hued pastures, the work transcends traditional commercial portraiture to evoke a cinematic, pastoral atmosphere. The styling, executed by Gemma Keil, highlights the textures of classic denim and utility-driven olive green shirts, mirroring the authentic, weathered beauty of the rural setting. This project channels editorial minimalism, favoring soft shadows and the rich, desaturated color palette of the golden hour to let the brand’s history speak for itself. Through a combination of lifestyle-focused storytelling and professional studio strobe portraits, the campaign functions as a tactile exploration of legacy. With hair and makeup support from Kristen Brett, the imagery maintains a polished yet naturalistic edge, successfully positioning R.M. Williams as a brand that is as much about the endurance of the land as it is about the longevity of the garments worn upon it.
