Present Space presents an exploration of the work of artist Jose Dávila through a series of editorial and documentary photographs. Captured by photographer Vivek Vadoliya, the project documents both finished sculptural installations and the iterative process within Dávila’s studio. The imagery focuses on the relationship between industrial materials—such as concrete blocks, steel beams, and stone—and the surrounding architectural environment. Techniques such as analogue film and monochrome processing are used to emphasize the raw textures of the studio space and the sculptural weight of the installations. The series utilizes natural light to highlight sharp shadows and geometric forms, creating a clean, minimalist visual balance across the workshop and gallery settings.
