The Manual Review: The Beauty Edit is an editorial series for Present Space that explores the visual language of cosmetics and grooming. Under the creative direction of Juan Duque, the project employs a minimalist approach to product photography, utilizing clean compositions and sharp lighting to highlight the textures and reflective surfaces of luxury skincare and beauty items. Photographer Eduard Sanchez Ribot captures the collection through a range of formats, alternating between flat lays, macro detail shots, and abstract arrangements. The imagery relies on strong graphic contrast and clean backdrops, leaning into a polished, editorial aesthetic that balances industrial metallic textures with the sleek, organic contours of cosmetic packaging.
