Present Space Jose Dávila 2025

Description

This black and white photograph captures an industrial workshop interior featuring stacked stone and marble slabs arranged centrally on the concrete floor. To the left, metal shelving units hold raw materials and geometric pieces, while a dark metal staircase rises diagonally in the background. Natural light casts sharp shadows across the floor and walls, highlighting the textural interplay between smooth stone, veined marble, and structural metalwork. The composition is shot from a low angle, emphasizing the sculptural weight of the materials within the functional studio environment. Vivek Vadoliya photographed this scene for the Jose Davila project with Present Space.
