Present Space Jose Dávila 2025

Description

This black and white photograph captures a sculptural installation by artist Jose Davila for Present Space, photographed by Vivek Vadoliya. The composition features a large tree branch and a steel I-beam suspended near the top of the frame against a plain white wall. Below them, a thin vertical rectangular metal frame is mounted to the wall, casting a soft shadow. On the floor, a row of four dark stones and rock fragments rests evenly across the surface. The lighting is clean and minimal, emphasizing the interplay of natural and industrial materials in a gallery setting.
