For the LIFE ISSA MOVIE project, Overdue Magazine presents a series of editorial portraits that lean into moody, cinematic storytelling. The imagery explores domestic and office settings through a low-key lens, utilizing chiaroscuro lighting to define form against shadow. Photographer Mark Yareham captures model Han Zhicheng across various configurations, emphasizing textures from patterned trousers to weathered leather footwear. With casting direction by Miguel Brana Campos, the project integrates hard light and directional shadows to create a contemplative aesthetic. The work focuses on intimate, atmospheric composition, prioritizing contrast and detailed environmental styling within a muted interior palette.
