Netflix
Brand Identity

Mar 2023
Netflix establishes a cohesive visual language for the Netflix Is A Joke festival through a high-contrast brand identity system. The project leans into a bold graphic design strategy, utilizing a vibrant primary color palette—red, blue, yellow, and green—to create a playful, energetic presence across physical and digital touchpoints. Developed by PORTO ROCHA, the identity emphasizes clean, vector-based typography and modular layouts. This system extends from large-scale outdoor signage and urban billboards to intimate print collateral, including festival badges and guest passes. The execution relies on sharp visual hierarchy and minimalist framing to maintain clarity in busy, outdoor settings. Documentation of the identity features photography by Allison Zaucha and Erik Undéhn, capturing the signage within its urban context. The project showcases a comprehensive approach to event branding, prioritizing high-impact typography and distinct signifiers to anchor the festival's commercial presence.
