For the Fall 2023 ad campaign, Missoni masterfully leans into the tension between heritage craftsmanship and contemporary urban energy. Under the creative direction of Filippo Grazioli, the collection comes to life through the lens of photographer Theo Wenner, who frames the iconic multi-colored zigzag knitwear against the gritty, blurred backdrop of a midnight cityscape. The editorial narrative is anchored by the performances of Liv Walters, Maty Fall, and Yang Ling, whose presence bridges the gap between high-fashion poise and spontaneous, late-night lifestyle photography. The campaign utilizes cinematic long exposure techniques and chiaroscuro lighting to draw out the tactile richness of faux fur and shimmering sequins, ensuring the brand's legendary patterns feel both timeless and urgent. Every frame is elevated by the precise styling of Lorenzo Posocco, complemented by the sharp, natural hair styling of Lorenzo Barcella and the bold, striking makeup artistry of Seiko Nishigori, which favors a signature deep red lip.
