Description

The brand identity for M.Giesser serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, weaving together the rugged permanence of natural stone with a sophisticated, modern graphic language. At the heart of the project is the New Volumes collection, which meticulously bridges the gap between industrial product design and high-end artistic presentation. By anchoring the identity in a striking palette of vibrant cobalt blue and neutral stone tones, the work leans into an aesthetic that feels both architectural and distinctly refined. The visual storytelling utilizes a strict grid-based structure to document sculptural marble pieces, such as the Semper vase and Hemera desk lamp, often set against the raw, monumental backdrop of a stone quarry to emphasize the interplay between human-made form and natural texture. Thomas Coward provides the creative direction that anchors these diverse elements, while photography by Sean Fennessey brings a cinematic quality to the campaign, particularly in the use of high-contrast lighting and sharp, directional shadows that elevate everyday objects into art. Through a combination of clean sans-serif typography, precise infographics, and layered, editorial layouts, the project transcends simple product documentation to establish a cohesive brand philosophy. This corporate communication effectively balances the utility of care manuals with the artistic mystery of draped forms, resulting in a cohesive, professional identity that honors both the history and the future of material-focused luxury design.
