Ludovic de Saint Sernin
Spring 2026 'Swimwear' Ad Campaign

Jun 2026
For the Spring 2026 swimwear campaign, Ludovic de Saint Sernin transports the viewer to the sun-drenched shores of Rio de Janeiro, creating a visual narrative that is as much about the environment as it is about the apparel. Photographed by Jorge Perez Ortiz, the campaign leans into editorial minimalism, utilizing the city's natural topography to frame the collection against high-contrast, cinematic lighting. Whether captured during the soft glow of golden hour or in moody, low-key pool settings, the images emphasize the raw tactility of the skin and the intricate lace-up details that define the brand’s signature aesthetic. The interplay of architectural brutalism and lush tropical foliage provides a sophisticated backdrop for a diverse cast, featuring Barbara Valente, Juan Felipe, Juan Pablo, Lucas Ribeiro, and Thomas Reinold Schmidt. Stylist Pau Avia leans into the collection's sensuality, pairing minimalist cuts with sharp, clean typography overlays that ground the work in a contemporary fashion context. By alternating between sun-drenched natural light and high-contrast, chiaroscuro-inspired black and white portraits, the project achieves a polished, evocative quality. The resulting imagery reads as a love letter to coastal life, blending high-fashion sensibilities with a relaxed, lifestyle-driven atmosphere that captures the kinetic energy and rhythmic beauty of the Brazilian landscape.
