Gucci
Spring 2024 Digital Campaign

Jan 2024
Gucci has unveiled its latest vision for the season with the Spring 2024 digital campaign, a masterclass in luxury fashion minimalism that strips away the noise to prioritize pure, tactile silhouettes. Under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno, the campaign leans into a sharp, architectural sensibility that redefines contemporary glamour through a restrained lens. Photographer David Sims captures the collection with clinical precision, utilizing high-output studio strobe lighting to emphasize the interplay between skin and the glossy, rich textures of signature leather accessories. The imagery serves as a bold editorial statement, where models like Fadia Ghaab and Nyajuok G inhabit an expansive white void, forcing the viewer to confront the sculptural quality of the garments—from lime green blazers to structured handbags worn as makeshift bodices. With art direction by Riccardo Zanola and styling by Alastair McKimm, the project masterfully navigates the intersection of commercial appeal and high-concept art. The sleek, wet-look hair by Duffy Sas and polished makeup by Lucia Pieroni further ground the aesthetic in an effortless, high-end reality. Whether viewed as a standalone editorial feature or as a cohesive UI illustration across the brand’s digital touchpoints, the campaign reinforces Gucci’s commitment to a refined, uncompromising aesthetic. By placing the product in a sterile, minimalist environment, De Sarno successfully transitions the luxury fashion house into a new, more focused era of visual storytelling that feels both immediate and timeless.
