Gucci
Holiday 2023 Ad Campaign

Nov 2023
For the Holiday 2023 ad campaign, Gucci delivers a masterclass in modern luxury editorial, expertly synthesizing brand heritage with a high-energy, contemporary spirit. Under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno, the campaign eschews the predictable tropes of the festive season in favor of an intimate, fashion-forward narrative that leans into the raw, tactile nature of the house's latest collections. Captured through the lens of photographer Anthony Seklaoui, the series utilizes a dynamic mix of natural light, sharp flash photography, and studio strobe techniques to highlight the complex textures of plush velvet, metallic mesh, and monogrammed leather. The project feels like a curated visual diary, with director Marcell Rev bringing a cinematic sensibility to the imagery, which balances sharp tailoring with moments of relaxed, human connection. Styled by Alastair McKimm, with hair by Benjamin Muller and makeup by Sam Visser, the campaign moves beyond simple product placement to showcase how the iconic GG monogram and signature horsebit hardware integrate into a sophisticated, lifestyle-driven wardrobe. The aesthetic is inherently cinematic and layered, anchored by a rich palette that bridges the gap between polished studio portraiture and candid, street-style editorialism, ultimately presenting a vision of Gucci that is as grounded as it is glamorous.
