Doritos: Chip In For Hawkins

Date

Oct 2025

Description

Doritos delivers a tongue-in-cheek campaign with "Chip In For Hawkins," a commercial spot that leans into 1980s breakfast television tropes. Centered around a parody broadcast segment, the film captures a retro aesthetic with analog tape tracking artifacts and a traditional 4:3 broadcast framing. The project features an original production by Outsider, with creative development led by the team at Sips & Bites. Absolute handled the post-production and VFX, while sound and music composition were provided by Bark Soho. The spot incorporates live-action techniques to recreate the specific visual language of a bygone era, complete with period-accurate set design and styling.
