Courrèges
Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Sep 2024
The Courrèges Fall 2024 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in architectural minimalism, stripping away the superfluous to place the focus squarely on silhouette and geometry. Under the creative direction of Nicolas Di Felice, the campaign leans into a high-concept visual language that prioritizes negative space and bold color blocking. Photographed by Mark Borthwick, the series utilizes rigorous studio strobe lighting to flatten the subjects against stark white backdrops, effectively transforming models like Mona Tougaard, Loli Bahia, and FeiFei Sun into integral components of a larger, graphic composition. The imagery is defined by a reliance on large-scale geometric forms, with models perched precariously upon or reclining against rigid rectangular blocks, creating a deliberate tension between the fluidity of the human form and the severity of the industrial set design executed by Remy Briere. With styling by Marie Chaix and beauty direction by Joseph Pujalte and Karin Westerlund, the collection’s monochromatic palettes in red, white, beige, and black are rendered with clinical precision. By embracing editorial minimalism and cinematic framing, this project reinforces the house's contemporary identity, proving that high-fashion storytelling does not always require grand environments. Instead, the power lies in the masterful balance of clean lines, high-key lighting, and the structural integrity of the garments themselves, resulting in a cohesive, visually arresting portrait of luxury.
