Blumarine
Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Feb 2024
The Blumarine Spring 2024 ad campaign signals a distinct evolution for the historic fashion house, leaning into a brand of intimate, domestic editorial storytelling under the creative direction of Walter Chiapponi. Eschewing the hyper-gloss of traditional luxury advertising, this project captures an evocative lifestyle aesthetic that feels both grounded and aspirational. Photographed by Larissa Hofmann, the series utilizes soft natural light to emphasize the delicate textures of the collection, from intricate lace cut-outs to structured metallic bodices. The campaign masterfully places high-fashion garments within ordinary, lived-in interiors, featuring models like Ida Aduke and Emmi Boehm in settings that shift from sun-drenched bathrooms to quiet, panelled kitchens. Through the art direction of Christopher Simmonds and styling by Jonathan Kaye, the work maintains a rigorous focus on the garment's design while inviting the viewer into a deeply personal, portrait-oriented narrative. The imagery prioritizes a quiet, architectural rhythm, relying on clean compositions and elegant script typography to anchor the brand identity. By synthesizing editorial minimalism with the warmth of everyday environments, the campaign successfully elevates the collection beyond mere retail display, framing the Blumarine woman as a figure of effortless grace in an environment that feels tactile, authentic, and strikingly modern.
