Motel Stories is a fashion editorial campaign for Blumarine that explores narrative tension through a series of cinematic, low-key vignettes. Captured by photographer Alfonso Anton Cornelis and styled by Giorgio Andrea Branduardi, the project leans into a moody aesthetic, utilizing chiaroscuro lighting to draw out textures in both clothing and skin. The series features model Jakob Jokerst alongside a female lead, set against deep burgundy backdrops and intimate hotel room settings. The styling emphasizes intricate detailing, ranging from silver jewelry and embellishments to tailored cargo pieces, with macro photography techniques highlighting the interplay of light and shadow across the subjects.
