Captured at The Fashion Awards 2024, this editorial series documents David Koma’s debut collection for Blumarine. The images channel a sharp, high-contrast aesthetic, utilising direct flash to highlight the intricate textures of sheer lace, chiffon, and structured tailoring against grand, historical interiors and reflective metallic settings. Photographer Simonas Berukstis frames the eveningwear through a series of vertical portraits, balancing the fluid, dramatic silhouettes of Koma’s designs with the rigid architecture of the shoot locations. The visuals emphasise the interplay between raw material and formal environment, featuring hair styling by Cos Sakkas and appearances by models Ashley Graham, Georgia Palmer, Lily McMenamy, and Malika El Maslouhi, alongside actor Alice Pagani.
