Auralee x Tekla
Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Jan 2025
The Fall 2024 ad campaign for the collaboration between luxury fashion houses Auralee and Tekla serves as an immersive study in quiet domesticity and organic harmony. Under the expert creative direction of Takuhito Kawashima, the visuals lean into editorial minimalism to emphasize a meditative connection between the human subject and the natural world. Photographer Nikki McClarron masterfully captures this dialogue through a lens of soft, diffused natural light, resulting in a series that feels both cinematic and intensely intimate. Whether set against the rugged, mineral-rich backdrop of geothermal hot springs or within the warmth of wood-paneled, minimalist interiors, the project highlights the tactile quality of premium loungewear and knitwear. The campaign features models Kohei Takabatake and Reina Ogawa Clarke, whose presence is elevated by the precise styling of Reina Ogawa Clarke, alongside the subtle, lived-in grooming by hair artist Tsubasa Dicky and makeup artist Kazuhiro Takenaka. By focusing on the interplay of layered textures—from ribbed wool socks and pinstriped cotton shirts to weathered stone and delicate autumn leaves—the imagery channels a serene, atmospheric aesthetic. It is a refined exploration of lifestyle branding that trades overt artifice for a sense of stillness, successfully positioning the collection as an essential component of a balanced, mindful existence.
