The subjects wear protective climbing helmets, heavy winter outerwear, and technical trekking backpacks while walking away from the camera into the cavern. Deep blue and cyan tones illuminate the textured, layered ice walls overhead against deep shadowy recesses. The low-key natural lighting creates high contrast between the cool luminous ice structure and the dark terrain underfoot.
