TenTen Photosynthesis · Brand Identity

The brand identity for TenTen Photosynthesis explores the intersection of botanical organicism and modern typography. Developed by graphic designer Zitong Zhao, the project establishes a cohesive visual language that balances soft, natural forms with sleek, high-contrast elements. The identity leans into a surreal and artistic aesthetic, layering custom cursive script over macro-botanical studies and moody, dark backgrounds. The execution incorporates clean, minimalist compositions alongside tactile, 3D rendered assets that highlight structural details and material textures. Preliminary development phases feature raw, geometric pencil sketches and proportional studies, which evolve into a final suite of commercial applications, including apparel and digital brand assets. The system utilizes typography as a central decorative motif, often paired with reflective chrome flourishes and monochromatic imagery to establish a sophisticated and distinct presence.
