Sociotype

Sociotype · Brand Identity

Sociotype presents its own brand identity, a project that functions as both a functional system and a showcase for its approach to typographic design. The identity centers on a rigorous editorial layout, utilizing bold serif typography and high-contrast visuals to communicate the studio’s design methodology. Executed through a mix of print publications, graphic spreads, and tactile material studies, the identity highlights the studio's technical precision. The project integrates custom typographic specimens with lifestyle photography and editorial imagery, emphasizing clean composition and a minimalist aesthetic. By layering graphic systems with photographic storytelling, the work demonstrates a command of grid-based layout and visual hierarchy, utilizing natural light and varied material textures to ground the abstract letterforms.
