Sea Turtle Foundation · An Impossible Life

Produced for the Sea Turtle Foundation, 'An Impossible Life' is a cinematic wildlife film documenting the initial stages of a sea turtle's lifecycle. The project employs a blend of live-action technique and VFX, capturing the hatchlings' journey from sand dunes to the ocean with a focus on atmospheric visuals. The film utilizes cool, desaturated tones to illustrate the marine environment, with detailed night photography capturing the hatchlings' movement across the shore. Post-production and VFX were managed by VANDAL, who also led production, with sound design by Ism Studios. The narrative underscores the environmental challenges faced by marine life in a public awareness context.
