Plymouth City Council · Shop Local
The Shop Local campaign for Plymouth City Council highlights independent business owners and retailers throughout the city. The project spotlights a variety of ventures, including craft stores, fishmongers, and flower boutiques, as business owners speak directly to the camera about their operations and community connection. Produced by AdSmart from Sky, the film utilizes an observational documentary style to showcase local high streets and coastal landmarks, such as the Plymouth lighthouse. The visuals lean into a clean, warm aesthetic, incorporating drone footage and natural light to capture an authentic atmosphere for the specialty retail sector.
