NBC Sports · Nutcracker
NBC Sports marks the NFL schedule with 'Nutcracker', a commercial spot that blends live-action footage with intricate stop-motion animation. The narrative centers on miniature puppet commentators perched on a mantlepiece, analyzing the upcoming holiday football games. The production leans into a cozy aesthetic, utilizing warm interior lighting to contrast with the high-stakes commentary of the league fixtures. Post production and VFX work by Max Cooper integrate the animated elements into the live-action environment, grounding the whimsical puppets within a realistic living room setting.
