Man About Town China

Man About Town China · Reinventing Power

Reinventing Power is a sharp fashion editorial for Man About Town China that explores the intersection of contemporary tailoring and structural menswear. Photographed by Shenyun Ren and styled by Jiacheng Wu, the series leans into a refined aesthetic, utilizing monochromatic palettes and minimalist sets to draw focus to the intricate textures of leather, mohair, and structured wool. Models Ma Kaidong and Serge Sergeev anchor the project, appearing in various configurations that balance assertive, high-contrast portraiture with relaxed, interior-driven scenes. Through the use of analogue-style film techniques and balanced studio lighting, the work emphasises clean architectural lines and dramatic silhouettes, ranging from polished corporate environments to theatrical, textured settings.
