Logic & Marshmello

Logic & Marshmello · Everyday Official Music Video

In the official music video for Everyday, a high-energy collaboration between Logic and Marshmello, the creative direction leans heavily into the tropes of the modern corporate grind to deliver a sharp, satirical narrative. The project functions as a vivid music and entertainment piece, utilizing a live-action technique to capture the weary reality of office life through a distinctively cinematic lens. By framing the protagonist—a man in a tan shirt and tie slumped over his desk in total exhaustion—against the stern, unamused gaze of his colleagues, the video effectively contrasts the monotony of daily professional life with the high-octane spirit of the track itself. This commercial approach to music storytelling uses a dimly lit, claustrophobic atmosphere to amplify the tension, emphasizing the performative nature of traditional corporate environments. Throughout the production, the visual language remains disciplined, relying on meticulous post-production and VFX work contributed by William McVay to ensure the edit flows seamlessly with the music. The final product succeeds by blending subtle, dark humor with a polished, professional aesthetic, creating a relatable yet hyperbolic scene that resonates with any viewer who has spent too many hours under fluorescent lights. It is a masterclass in visual storytelling that manages to balance character-driven narrative beats with the demands of a high-production music video format.
